At brasserie De Kasteelhoeve, you can enjoy good food and drinks in a cozy ambiance
Escape to our charming Westmalle eatery, where you can relish great food and drinks in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re in the mood for a refreshing draft Trappist, a glass of wine, or a leisurely meal, we have something to suit all tastes.
Weather permitting, you can while away the hours on our sunny terrace, taking in the stunning views of Westmalle castle and church. Your little ones are sure to have a blast in our playground.
Lunch or Dinner
Our kitchen is open all day until 8:45 PM. We serve typical Belgian dishes, international classics, seasonal specials, as well as pancakes and ice cream. We also prepare meals for kids that make them happy.
Week menu
On Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, we offer a starter, main course, and dessert for €29.50 per person!
Brunch
Four times a year, you can indulge in an extensive brunch buffet at brasserie De Kasteelhoeve. Come and savor a delightful brunch experience.
Terrace and playground
The Kasteelhoeve features a spacious sunny terrace with ample shaded spots to cool off in the summer. Parents can enjoy a snack and a drink while children play in the private playground next to the terrace.
The playground includes climbing structures, a walkway, a slide, and a climbing wall – ideal for children up to 12 years old. For the little ones, we have an interactive play structure available.

Kitchen
The kitchen is open from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM every day. The last order is taken at 8:45 PM.

Our multipurpose room
De Kasteelhoeve offers a versatile space for classes, lectures, workshops, meetings, and gatherings of friends and family. It accommodates up to 30 people for meetings and 50 for dining.
